Risk-Taker
Before I attended CDNIS, my parents have always taught me to be a Risk - Taker. Trying and experiencing new things has always been a great habit of mine.

Especially when it comes to travelling. CDNIS brings us on annual trips, and I was very fortunate to attend 4 years of Experience Week trips; Thailand, Taiwan, China, and Australia. Because of my love for travelling, I had to take upon this opportunity of going to places I have never visited before. Spending a week away from home, really helped me to build confidence and independence. This also allowed me to appreciate and spend more time with my friends. And if I had to repeat all these CAS trips again, I definitely would.

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Fujian, China

Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Brisbane, Australia
One of my favorite hobbies is to create vlogs, so here is a artsy vlog I created for our school website in Australia.
My MYP Personal Project was to create a photo album featuring 50 Strangers of different race, age, gender, and class. One of my greatest achievements is receiving an overall score of 7 on my Personal Project, which I had worked on for 6 to 7 months. It took a lot of courage and confidence to go up to complete random strangers, and ask if I could take a portrait of them. And because I travel a lot, I took photos of people in Canada, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. I wanted to exhibit each individual's story just by looking at their portrait.

Here is a video of how my final photo album and booth looked like:
